This presentation was made in the context of the Sustainability Days (IP SoS!) of KATHO, Universtiy College in Kortrijk. Here below you can find the presentation in English, covering (1) the analysis of the present day sustainability crisis (and the growing attention the European Commission is giving to this problem), (2) the abc of transitions and transition management, as a new governance framework, (3) a number of transition paths towards an ecological economics, and (4) conclusions, with reference to the enormous benefits that transitions may bring, under the condition they are organised in an equitable way.
